[TV Daily Reporter Lee Gi-eun] Rapper Noel, the son of the late politician Jang Je-won, has recently shared his guilt towards his parents and offered insights into his current state. On the 25th, a video titled 'Noel and Shoes Off EP.86 | High School Rapper Returns' was released on the YouTube channel SPNS TV, where he revisited his past struggles.

Noel discussed his experience in prison for a DUI, stating, 'I spent exactly one year in detention, enduring all four seasons there, with nothing much to do apart from writing letters and sleeping.' He also revealed a troubling history regarding solitary confinement, explaining that he had requested a cell change but was denied for safety concerns.

Reflecting on his time in isolation, he mentioned significant weight gain and symptoms similar to aphasia due to lack of communication. The poignant moments he shared during family visits deeply affected him, particularly noting, 'My mother is truly beautiful and graceful. Watching her change over time deeply hurt me.'

First gaining recognition in 2017 on Mnet's 'High School Rapper', Noel was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison for DUI in 2019. Following another conviction in 2021, he had to navigate challenging times but still continues his musical endeavors.

Noel's story reveals both personal turmoil and societal issues. His experiences in prison highlight that incarceration is not just a punishment but a journey that significantly impacts psychological well-being and interpersonal relationships. The correlation between his isolation and subsequent weight gain, along with psychological trauma, offers a meaningful wake-up call for many.

Moreover, the guilt he expresses towards his parents, paired with his love for them, forms the core of his heartfelt narrative. His deep yearning to reclaim lost time suggests a desire for reconnection with parental love. These elements are likely to influence his artistic creation, raising anticipation about the transformations he might exhibit in his future work.

Finally, Noel's case prompts us to reconsider the responsibilities and societal expectations placed upon public figures. As someone drawing public attention, his actions wield considerable impact; thus, his journey of rediscovery and efforts could serve as a beacon of hope for many.
