[TV Daily Kim Jin-seok] Singer Kard Garden is embarking on an extensive winter project that includes music, visuals, and live events. On December 16th at 6 PM, Kard Garden released their new EP 'Blue Heart' across various music platforms. This marks their first album in about two years since the release of their second studio album 'Harmony' in 2023, capturing the essence of their musical journey while presenting a more refined emotional texture. The album, described as 'a song of the purest hearts and warm times,' embodies a winter-friendly sound and warm lyrics, vividly showcasing Kard Garden's unique emotional landscape. Deep feelings rooted in love and kindness take center stage, expressed through delicate yet straightforward language that conveys emotional warmth throughout the tracks. 'Blue Heart' comprises five songs, including its title track 'LOVERS', along with 'Citrus Tea', 'Gently Gently', 'Dreamer Uncle', and 'Oh! Brothers'. Each song offers a distinctive sound closely connected to the winter atmosphere and unfolds Kard Garden's heartfelt perspective in various ways. The title track 'LOVERS' was previewed on KBS's 'The Seasons – 10CM's Touching', receiving a warm response ahead of its official release. Following this, excerpts of all tracks from the EP were shared on Kard Garden's official YouTube channel, generating heightened anticipation among fans. The music video illustrates a unique concept featuring a 'Fortune Control System' that regulates the city's luck quotient, with Kard Garden portraying 'Murphy Man,' a character associated with misfortune. This intriguing narrative is interpreted as a 'necessary discomfort' to prevent an excess of good luck, offering viewers a relatable message. In addition to the music, Kard Garden announced a pop-up event via their personal Instagram on December 16th, teasing further activities. Featuring the theme 'Guardian of Love Kard Garden in Seongsu', the event will run from December 19th to 21st. Further, Kard Garden will stage a solo concert themed 'Blue Heart'. The concerts are set for January 17th and 18th, 2026, at Olympic Park Olympic Hall, where they will engage with fans, expanding on the musical narrative initiated by the EP. The 'Blue Heart' project aims to deepen the emotional narratives that Kard Garden has conveyed through their music, promising memorable experiences for listeners and audiences throughout this winter.

Kard Garden's new EP 'Blue Heart' stands out for its ability to effectively convey the warmth of winter through its sound. In particular, the title track 'LOVERS' combines a sensuous melody with warm lyrics, evoking deep feelings centered around love. The lyrical quality of this song enhances Kard Garden's unique narrative, capturing the hearts of listeners. Furthermore, the five tracks on the EP each convey different emotions, demonstrating Kard Garden's musical depth. While winter typically conjures images of cold, this EP offers a precious message that allows listeners to feel warmth during the season. Such an approach provides both comfort and an emotional connection for the audience. Additionally, Kard Garden's experimental music video and events strengthen connections with fans. The unique concept of a 'Fortune Control System' accentuates the depth of emotions he seeks to convey.
