[TV Daily, Lee Gi-eun Reporter] Sung Si-kyung's agency SK Jaewon has received a non-prosecution ruling after being charged for operating without proper registration. The agency, which is led by Sung Si-kyung's sister, was also implicated in this case.

According to legal sources on the 15th, the Southern District Prosecutor's Office of Seoul issued a non-prosecution ruling on the 14th for both SK Jaewon and Sung Si-kyung's sister, who were charged with violating the Act on the Promotion of the Cultural and Artistic Industries. This ruling recognizes the charges but does not lead to prosecution.

SK Jaewon, founded in February 2011, was reported last September to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for operating without registration. The agency stated that it was unaware of its registration obligations at the time. Sung Si-kyung clarified that he was not directly involved in the agency's operations, which led to the decision not to prosecute him. Currently, SK Jaewon has completed its registration as an artistic planning agency last November. Meanwhile, Sung Si-kyung is actively hosting KBS2's program 'Sung Si-kyung's Eardrum Boyfriend.'

This incident highlights the importance of registration within the entertainment industry, reflecting significant legal issues when operated without it. Given that SK Jaewon was unregistered, it inevitably faced legal scrutiny, raising meaningful questions about how a company led by Sung Si-kyung's sister reflects the changes within the entertainment field.

Sung Si-kyung, while actively clarifying the situation, has managed to maintain his stance. This demonstrates his sense of responsibility and commitment to his reputation in the industry. Although the impact of this incident on his career may be minimal, it seems imperative for him to be cautious about his public image moving forward.

With SK Jaewon now successfully registered, Sung Si-kyung continues to engage with fans through his broadcasting activities. It is crucial for him to convey a positive image and work towards regaining the trust of his fanbase, which might have been affected by this legal situation.
