[TV Daily's Kim Ji-ha] Lee Chan-hyuk of the sibling duo AKMU recently opened up about the complex feelings following the release of their new album. On May 5, he posted on his social media, expressing that ‘after sending off the works I had held onto for a long time, I’ve felt a void for several weeks’ alongside several photos.

He shared, ‘At the moment when what was once mine becomes everyone’s, it feels as though something is taken away,’ adding that he does so for something that he can ultimately possess, even if it leaves his hands. He concluded by expressing relief that the album seems to have reached many people, saying it’s fortunate for both Lee Soo-hyun and himself, as well as the fans.

AKMU recently released their regular album ‘Kaihwa’ after about seven years, featuring a total of 11 songs written and composed entirely by Lee Chan-hyuk, further solidifying their musical identity.
