SF9's Youngbin Concludes Musical 'Secretly Greatly' with Successful Finale

Youngbin from SF9 successfully wrapped up his run in the musical 'Secretly Greatly: THE LAST', showcasing his potential as a musical actor. The final performance took place on April 25 at the NOL Theater in Daehakro, concluding a three-month journey. Based on the movie and webtoon of the same name, the musical follows members of a special operations unit living undercover in a small neighborhood in Seoul. Youngbin portrayed the role of Lee Haerang, the son of a high-ranking official, who disguises himself as a rock musician in South Korea.

Despite being his first foray into musical theater, Youngbin captivated audiences with his impressive acting skills and precise diction, bringing depth to his character. His flawless execution of dynamic action scenes and choreography garnered widespread acclaim. After the final show, Youngbin expressed, “I had some regrets as it was my first musical experience, but with the help of those around me and the support from the audience, I was able to complete it.” He added, “I focused on immersing myself in the character and managed my physical condition to the best of my ability.”

Having successfully made his musical debut, Youngbin is set to return to SF9 for more active engagements. The group is scheduled to release their special album 'About Love' in Japan on June 24, followed by fan meetings in Osaka and Tokyo on the 27th and 30th, respectively.
