[TV Daily Reporter Kim Hangil] Latin pop group Santos Bravos under HYBE expressed their commitment to engage in their activities with a learn-and-inspire approach, drawing from senior K-pop artists.

At a media day held at HYBE's Yongsan headquarters in Seoul, Santos Bravos, consisting of Drew, Kauê, Alejandro, Gabi, and Kenneth, shared insights about their debut journey. The group debuted in Mexico last October after receiving K-pop style training under HYBE's 'Multi-home, Multi-genre' strategy led by Bang Si-hyuk. Their blend of Latin music's free-spirited essence and the intricate finesse of K-pop has garnered fresh attention in the global music scene.

Gabi emphasized the significance of their visit to Korea, stating, “The Korean market is crucial as it is the starting point for HYBE. We have worked tirelessly to reach this point.” Drew added, “We are eager to learn from the trailblazers of K-pop. We have been inspired by artists like BTS, Le Sserafim, and I-LAND.” Santos Bravos arrived at Incheon International Airport on April 4 and will engage in various music activities during their three-week stay in Korea.

Santos Bravos's first trip to Korea marks a significant chapter in their career as they seek to draw inspiration from K-pop icons like BTS and Le Sserafim. The unique fusion of Latin music's free-spirited character with K-pop's meticulous artistry positions them as pioneers in creating a cross-cultural musical dialogue. Their approach not only sets them apart in the competitive music industry but also provides opportunities to engage global audiences more thoroughly.

The ambition to transcend language barriers by adopting various musical trends and styles reflects their commitment to growth within the K-pop landscape. Given the global nature of the industry, Santos Bravos has the potential to serve as a bridge between different cultural spectrums. Their initiative aligns perfectly with the idea that cultural exchange is crucial in today's interconnected world, likely benefiting their artistic trajectory moving forward.

As they gain experiences in Korea, the lessons and inspirations that Santos Bravos derive will be pivotal for their development. Their inaugural activities in the heart of K-pop could serve as an opportunity to solidify their identity and reinforce their drive for future endeavors.
