[TV Daily Kim Ji-Ha Reporter] The group Ampers&One has made its return with the mini-album 'Definition' and the concept of 'Godformance.' On April 8, they held a showcase at the Nodalseom Live House in Yongsan, Seoul, marking their first comeback in eight months. The members shared that during their hiatus, they experienced various performances, enhancing their teamwork. They stated, 'We’ve improved our skills and feel closer together. We prepared with the desire to succeed.' The album revolves around the question, 'Who lifts us up?' and ultimately reveals the answer to be 'ourselves.' The title track 'God' is a dynamic dance song that weaves traditional culture with hip-hop, showcasing a unique creativity that is hard to find in today's K-pop.

The title track combines ethnic synth sounds with trap beats to create an Eastern ambiance. Kim Seung-Mo mentioned, 'I felt refreshed and new when I first heard this song,' while Makaya emphasized, 'I don't think there’s any song like 'God' in the K-pop scene.' The members are focusing on the performance aspect of the song, incorporating elements of traditional Korean dance. Choi Ji-Ho will express his love for the performance using a fan, and Cairal aims to display intricate dance lines. Ampers&One will launch their live tour, 'Born To Define,' starting with their first solo concert in Seoul on May 2.

Ampers&One's 'Godformance' represents an innovative fusion of traditional Korean culture and contemporary hip-hop elements. They are particularly showcasing 'Joseon Hip-Hop' through choreography incorporating traditional dance movements. This originality is expected to establish them as a unique force in the global K-pop market.

In the K-pop scene where communication with fans is key, Ampers&One's effort to convey meaningful messages is noteworthy. By exploring the theme of 'definition,' they are likely to deepen their relationship with fans. Their plans for a fan song will further strengthen their bond with 'Andear.'

As they enter their fourth year since debut, Ampers&One is in the process of establishing their identity. Through this new album, they aim to convey more than just music, which is likely to positively affect their fanbase.
