BTS has announced the addition of shows in three cities as part of their Latin American tour. According to a notice posted on Weverse on the morning of April 8, the group will add one performance each in Lima, Chile, and Buenos Aires in October, raising the total number of performances in their 'BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’’ to 85 across 34 cities.

The group is making history in South America, being the first Korean artist to perform at Estadio El Campín in Bogotá, Colombia, and Estadio Único de La Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Additionally, they will hold their first solo concert at Estadio Nacional in Santiago, marking a significant milestone. BTS's first complete visit to South America has generated immense anticipation among local fans, particularly as fans in Peru are actively participating in the ‘One Million Trees’ campaign and various public works to welcome the group.

BTS will kick off their 'BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’’ on April 9 at Goyang Sports Complex, meeting fans for three consecutive days before heading to Japan's Tokyo Dome. The tour will feature a 360-degree stage design that promises an immersive experience for audiences.

BTS's tour in Latin America serves as a pivotal moment in reaffirming their global popularity and influence. They are not just presenting concerts, but forming deeper connections with local fans through cultural exchanges. Notably, their environmentally conscious initiatives encourage fan participation, an impressive aspect of their engagement strategy.

Performing for the first time in Colombia and Argentina as a Korean artist underscores how widely their music has been embraced worldwide. Their music transcends language and cultural barriers, significantly contributing to building a global fanbase.

This unique characteristic allows BTS to transcend being merely a music group. Through their musical codes and messages, they heighten awareness about social issues and grow alongside their fans. Today, BTS has established itself as a global cultural icon, continuously enhancing its communication with followers.
