VIXX Returns as a Quartet… A New Stage for Their Comeback
VIXX is resuming activities as a quartet with an upcoming fan concert.
The concert will take place on February 21-22 at the KBS Arena in Seoul.
The departure of Hongbin and Ravi leaves a bittersweet note as they begin anew as four.

VIXX is set to return to group activities as a quartet, reconnecting with their fans. Jellyfish Entertainment announced on January 15 that the fan concert titled 'Case No. VIXX' will take place on February 21-22 at the KBS Arena in Seoul, marking their first comprehensive performance in about seven years since their last fan meeting in 2019.

This concert will feature the four members, N, Leo, Ken, and Hyuk, as they take the stage following Hyuk's military service. Debuting in 2012 as a six-member group, VIXX released numerous hits like 'Chain', 'Ready to be Hurt', and 'Jekyll', becoming a beloved name through their unique concepts and performances. As they resume group activities, global K-pop fans are highly curious about this new chapter.

However, the departure of Hongbin and Ravi leaves a gap, as the six-member ensemble can no longer be realized. Hongbin left after being involved in controversy during a streaming broadcast, while Ravi has ceased his entertainment activities after being implicated in a military service scandal.

The return of VIXX as a quartet signifies a deliberate effort to strengthen their interaction with fans in the evolving K-pop market. This new chapter marks a fresh start that is not tied to any past controversies, allowing the group to re-engage with their audience. Given that VIXX possesses a unique concept and compelling performances, their reunion is generating significant anticipation.

With lingering regrets over past controversies, the key question will be how this new formation garners public response. Having honed their skills during the hiatus through solo activities, fans can expect improved teamwork and elevated performances during the concert. This transformation is likely to shine brightly in their upcoming show.

The direction in which VIXX progresses is a point of interest for many. Should the members, having matured individually, manage to complement one another's performances, fans can look forward to greater enjoyment and a multitude of future activities in the K-pop arena.
